Certified ultrasound technicians and staff RDMS offer free ultrasounds to eligible clients. We are the only organization in Guilford County to provide free ultrasound services. Clients must complete a pregnancy test or intake appointment in order to be considered for an ultrasound.
Free STD Tests
We offer oral swabs for HIV, and urine tests for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. All clients who test positive will be referred to the Guilford County Health Department for treatment. Tests are self-administered by the client.
Certification: Women's Right To Know
According to North Carolina state law, women considering abortion must have an informed consent certification signed by a doctor, nurse, or certified ultrasound technician. These women must be given the alternatives to abortion in writing, as well as be offered an ultrasound. We offer this certification at the Care Center, and are the only organization in Guilford County to offer free ultrasound services. It is, by law, the first step to getting an abortion in North Carolina. If you’re considering abortion, set up your appointment for this certification today.
The Care Center offers a variety of classes that give clients the opportunity to learn more about parenting, relationships, and sexual health. Clients may earn points by attending classes, and use their points to receive baby and maternity items (see Resources). Click the button below to learn more about our classes.
The Care Center offers a “Learn & Earn” program for clients who attend classes. As they attend and earn points, those points may be used to receive baby items, baby furniture, and maternity clothes. All items are donated to the center and are either new or gently used. Upon request, peer advocates will provide community referrals for adoption agencies, housing, shelters, and other appropriate agencies.
Mentorship: Titus 2 Initiative
This mentoring program is a partnership between Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center and local churches that serves the purpose of connecting clients who want to grow in their Christian faith with mentors who can teach them more about the Bible, pray with them, or help them connect with the local church community.
