What We Offer

We offer mentorship for women facing an unplanned pregnancy. Everyone needs a healthy support network, whether you’re pregnant or not! But during an unplanned pregnancy, you especially need that community of people to rally around you in a helpful, and healthy way.

We call our mentoring program The Titus 2 Initiative.

Older women...are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

Titus 2:3-5

Titus 2 Initiative

The Titus 2 Initiative is a partnership between Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center and local churches. This mentoring program serves the purpose of connecting clients with both mentoring relationships and opportunities to grow among a body of Christians (a local church). The purpose of Titus 2 Initiative is to:
  1. Connect clients with a local church, providing them with a healthy support network.
  2. Provide clients with love and biblical direction and discipleship before, during, and after pregnancy.
  3. Provide opportunities for local churches to love and serve women facing an unplanned pregnancy.

This mentorship opportunity is available to any of our clients who express a desire to get connected with a local church and explore or develop their relationship with God, or simply need further personal support.

Mentors sign up through their church contact (ambassador). They commit to pursuing a discipling/mentoring relationship with an individual client to whom they are connected.

An ambassador is one person from each participating church who serves as the contact between the pregnancy center and participating mentors. She will connect clients to mentors she recruits in her church.

There is no set limit on the duration of this program. It will be up to the client and mentor.

Participation in the program is voluntary by all involved. Clients will have to give permission for personal information to be released to ambassadors and mentors.

Participants must submit an agreement form for consideration. Ambassadors must be interviewed before consideration.

There are no incentives to participate. Clients should not expect financial or material handouts from mentors or ambassadors.

Contact Structure

Once a client applies, the Client Services Director will give the client’s information to the ambassador, who contacts the mentor, who contacts the participating client.
