What We Offer

Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center is the only place in Guilford County to provide free ultrasounds. Now we offer them both in-house and on a mobile unit at various locations around the city. We provide what is known as “Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound.” This type of ultrasound seeks to verify three things in your pregnancy:

  • Viability of the pregnancy
  • Heartbeat
  • Gestational age

The main purpose of the ultrasound is to confirm pregnancy. Our services are administered by both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) who freely volunteer their time and services, or who are currently on staff at the Care Center, and by staff Registered Nurses who are trained and certified in administering limited obstetrical ultrasounds.

Ultrasounds are overseen by a volunteer medical board consisting of local medical doctors who are board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. They are practicing doctors in Greensboro. These doctors ensure our policies and procedures remain at the highest standards for clients.
